Condition of the
Legs - Master
- (Changed - 19/08/2007)
Rotate and Pivotal.
As the shoulders rotate into the back swing movement, the hips
will automatically rotate away from the frontal facing position
which allows you to concentrate on performing a pivotal
movement of the hips.
This means that during the back swing movement the right leg must
remain in the original address condition of being slightly flexed
at all times, whilst the left leg is allowed to bend slightly more
than the original address position.
During the down swing the pivotal movement of the hips is reversed
so that by the time the club head makes contact with the ball the
left leg has returned to the original address condition of being
slightly flexed whilst the right leg have been allowed to achieve
a condition of being slightly more bent than at the original address
position.
