Movement.
(Changed - 13/04/2010)
"Key
Movement"
At the precise
movement the shoulders are parallel to the target line and simultaneously
the club head strikes the ball, the shoulders stop rotating long
enough to allow the arm to swing through the contact thus forcing
the right arm into the fully straightened position.
As soon as the right arm is fully straightened, an action that
only takes a nanosecond to perform, the whole upper body unit resumes
it rotational movement thus rotating the right shoulder under the
chin, thereby pushing the club head to the bottom
of the swing arc.
But importantly whilst the arms interact and subsequently
the right shoulder
rotates under the chin, the upper
body angles must be strictly maintained and the head must remain
slightly behind the ball position.
The Shoulders.
The shoulders must be Parallel
to the Target Line at the precise moment the club head makes
contact with the ball.
As
you move the mouse over the picture, a second image shows the result
of stopping the shoulders rotating but allowing the arms to swing
through the contact area, thus forcing the right arm into the fully
straightened position .
However for this technique to be successful,
the upper body angles
must be maintained and the head must remain slightly behind the
ball position.
