"Training device. wire01- ( 24/11/2007) This is a device designed to keep the head position firmly in the original address position as the complete golf swing is performed.
(Photograph 1) This is the view that the golfer has at the address position, (See Photograph 2 for the side view.) The ball at the top of the device completely hides the ball on the ground. However to enable the top ball to completely cover the bottom ball throughout the golf swing, you must not allow the head to move either lateral or vertically.
(Photograph 2) This is a side view -The red line indicates the line of sight at the address position.
The device is used as a guide to encourage you to hold the head in the original address position, whilst you play the actual shot.
Photograph 3 -- This is the view the golfer will have if the head has moved ahead of the original address position at impact. Because the head is in front of the original address position at impact, the club face will be in a slight open position at the moment of impact, resulting in a push or a slice to the right.
Photograph 4 -- This is the view the golfer will have if the head is behind the original address position at impact. Because the head is behind the original address position at impact, the club face will be in a slight closed position at the moment of impact, resulting in a pull or a hook to the left.
(Photograph 5) Head slightly higher and slightly ahead of the original address position at impact.
This is the view the golfer will have if the head lifts slightly and also moves slightly ahead of the original address position at impact. Probable result - thinned, sliced shot.
( Photograph 6) Head lower and slightly ahead of the original address position.
This is the view the golfer will have if the head drops slightly and also moves slightly ahead of the original address position at impact. Probable result- fat, sliced shot. Purchase this Device. If you wish to purchase this device as shown in photograph
