Golf Instructors.- Master - (Changed - 15 11/2008)

Most golf instructors are basically very good naturally talented golfers who have played the game since they were very young.

However because of this natural ability I believe that they fail to understand what actually makes very good golfers and are unable to comprehend that most golfers do not have this natural gift and have to learn the basic principles of the golf swing.

For example, they did not need to be taught to hold the upper body unit tightly together - or to watch the ball with intensity so that they actually see the club head strike the ball -- they did not have to be taught to use the power of the hips to force a very compact upper body unit to rotate around the central core of the spine -- they did not need to be taught to keep the head behind the ball position until well after the ball has been struck, and so on.

Naturally talented golfers do most of these things automatically and therefore these Golf Instructors assume that all golfers perform the golf swing in a similar manner.

This is where my website is different, I began playing at a late stage and for many years I struggled with my game, but eventually I identified certain aspects of the golf swing that has dramatically improved the quality of my game, such as the things I mention above.

Of all the things that I have learnt to develop, keeping the head firmly held in the original address position and in the Fixed Frontal condition until well after the ball has been struck and watching the ball with intensity until the club head makes contact with the ball -- are three items that are never mentioned by these golf instructors, but I can assure you that if you can learn to perform these three basic principles, the quality of your shots will improve dramatically.

.

These are aspects of the golf swing that these naturally talented golfers take for granted but once you are made aware of these basic principles, you can also acquire these skills.
