Forward Press Movement.- bs12 - (Changed - 17/12/2008)

The sole purpose of a forward press movement (See Video) is to assist in a smooth transition from the static address position into the back swing movement.

As soon as I am ready to begin the back swing movement I pause for a brief moment in order to concentrate on the task in hand, I then perform a forward press movement before using a combination of the muscles of the left shoulder and the left upper arms to literally push the passive arms to the end of the back swing movement whilst the shoulders rotate around the central core of the spine.
