Lower Body Tautness. -Master -(Changed - 08/07/2008)

By keeping the muscles of the legs, the thighs and the buttocks in a very firm condition, also keeping the legs in a permanently rigid, but slightly bent condition and keeping the heel of the left foot firmly on the ground, it enables the golfer to carry out three important functions:-

1) As the golfer carries out the back swing movement, the lower part of the body puts up the maximum resistance to the rotational movement of the compact upper body unit, thus enabling the golfer to build up the torsion of the muscles to the maximum.

2) It forces the golfer to twist the upper torso in order to make a full shoulder turn.

3) It enables the angle of the legs to be maintained at more or less the same that was set at the address position throughout the complete golf swing.
