Left
side of the body in control -
Master - (Changed - 05/08/2008)
In order to have complete control during
the back swing movement it is absolutely vital that you focus on
the muscles of the left shoulder and the left arm as being in over-all
control of the compact upper body unit as it rotates around the
central core of the spine, whilst the right arm remain in a totally
passive condition.
During
the down swing movement, it is vital that you continue to concentrate
on the left shoulder muscles and the left arm as being in over-all
control of the compact upper body unit as it rotates around the
central core of the spine, whilst the muscles of the right arm remain
in a totally passive condition.
Therefore you must focus on the left shoulder /left arm as being
in control throughout the complete golf swing movement
LOWER BODY
A similar rule applies to the lower part of the body, because
during the down swing movement it is the left leg and the left thigh
that initiates the down swing movement and causes the hips to rotate
in an anti-clockwise motion, thus forcing the shoulders to follow
its movement.
